How to foam wash your car
A good prewash is the most important part of washing a car manually.
Foam washing is an effective way of loosening fixed dirt from the paint surface. Using a pressure foamer uses fairly little detergent and allows cleaning the surface without any mechanical stress directed onto the surface.
- Spray the detergent solution thoroughly onto the outside surfaces of your car. Start from the bottom rear end and work your way up and towards the front of the car.
- Let the foaming detergent take effect as long as possible without letting it dry on the surface.
- Rinse the car thoroughly with plenty of water and use a pressure washer, if possible. Start rinsing from the front and top of the car.
