Kungs offers a wide range of innovative and high quality car care accessories for winter, cleaning and washing. Kungs winter products are the market leader in Scandinavia and Northern Europe

Our products are designed and tested to suit the extreme Finnish winter conditions. Our products are manufactured at our own factory in Kokemäki, Finland and our philosophy is to produce the best products for the car care accessory markets in the most environmentally friendly way. Naturally, we take great pride in our environmental leadership, quality and craftsmanship.

Sinituote Group

Kungs is the undisputed Northern European market leader in winter car accessories, offering a
comprehensive portfolio of premium car care products. Born in Finland, our products are engineered and rigorously tested from the ground up to withstand the harshest Arctic conditions. When it comes to quality, we never compromise.

Built on a strong foundation, Kungs operates as part of the Finnish, family-owned Sinituote Group. Dating back to 1940, the group has been proudly owned by the Brotherus family since 1988. Alongside the core brand Kungs, the group's diverse portfolio features SINI cleaning products and SINI Pro for professional cleaning—manufactured with a proud tradition at our own factories in Finland. This range is complemented by Rörets laundry care products,
produced at our state-of-the-art facility in Poland.

Product design and quality

Functional Scandinavian design, uncompromised quality and constant innovations are the elements that each Kungs product speaks for. Therefore, many of our products have a 3 year warranty promise.

We test all products and components in our own in-house laboratory before starting mass production. The products will be exposed to extreme temperatures and parts are twisted and bent thousands of times before we are convinced that mass production can be started. This is our standard process for all new Kungs products.
Our quality assurance is monitored in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard.

Built to Last – Challenging the Throwaway Culture

Environmental responsibility is firmly rooted in the DNA of the Sinituote Group. We don't just
make promises; we take concrete climate action. By manufacturing exceptionally durable products and acting as an industry pioneer in the circular economy, we are actively fighting the throwaway culture.

Designed for longevity. If, for example, the scraper blade of a snow brush wears out, it
can simply be purchased separately and replaced instead of discarding the entire tool. This conserves valuable resources and delivers cost savings.

How Sustainability Drives Our Operations

In collaboration with the energy company Fortum, we have developed a specialized,
frost-resistant recycled plastic compound. Its primary raw material is Fortum Circo®, derived from Finnish household waste. We are continuously researching new eco-friendly material alternatives.

Our factories in Kokemäki and Akaa run exclusively on electricity from renewable sources. Our own rooftop solar panels cover approximately 15% of our energy needs, while all purchased
electricity is verifiably sourced from certified hydropower. Furthermore, we strictly minimize material loss: all surplus plastic from production is either reused directly in our own manufacturing process or sold to the recycled plastics industry.

  • 62 % Recycled Plastic

Nearly two-thirds of the plastic used in our manufacturing is recycled material. This cuts CO2 emissions by approximately 57% compared to using virgin plastics.

  • 100 % Waste Recovery (Zero Waste to Landfill)

Our production facilities generate 0% landfill waste. All manufacturing waste is fully repurposed – either through material recycling or through energy recovery.

  • 94 % Winter Car Care "Made in Finland"

A robust local value chain guarantees premium quality. For our summer product line, the share of Finnish value creation stands at approximately 48%.

  • Certified Standards ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

Our end-to-end operations are seamlessly managed under a fully audited Quality Management System and a certified Environmental Management System, ensuring total transparency.
