Silicone brush helps in cleaning carpets
Sand can be removed from fabric car carpets with a vacuum cleaner – at least almost always. Nonetheless, fine sand will cling to the carpet and the last grains of sand cannot be removed by vacuuming. Kungs silicone brush to the rescue!
Cleaning fabric carpets at home is the easiest to do on a sunny day when the carpets are completely dry. No water in any form should go into an ordinary vacuum cleaner. So, unless you own a wet suction vacuum cleaner, you should avoid vacuuming the car on a snowy or wet day.
How to effectively clean car carpets
- Vacuum clean the dry carpets either in the car or detach the carpets and vacuum them outside the car.
- Use a silicone brush to brush off any fine sand in the corners of the carpet. The idea is to loosen the sand from the bottom of the carpet.
- Vacuum the loose sand.
- Repeat stages 2 and 3 as necessary.
- Enjoy your clean car.
