The Kungs Snow Brush is the Overwhelming Winner in Auto, Motor und Sport Magazine’s Comparison
Sinituote Oy, based in Finland, manufactures the Kungs-branded snow brush, which has
emerged as the overwhelming winner in a recent test by the German magazine Auto, Motor
und Sport. Finnish car care products are particularly popular in Central Europe. This success
is based not only on superior quality but also on excellent delivery reliability.
The popular German automotive magazine Auto, Motor und Sport tested 13 different snow
brushes and ice scrapers from nine manufacturers in the freezing conditions of Finnish
Lapland. The Kungs Max-is snow brush, equipped with an ice scraper, produced by Finnish
company Sinituote, was the top product in the comparison published in early January. The
Max-is scored 89 points out of 100 and received the rating “very good.” The runner-up, a
Michelin snow brush, scored 76 points and was rated “good.”
Kungs performed exceptionally well overall in the comparison, with three of the top four ice
scrapers being Kungs products.
“Our test showed that there can be significant differences between products in the same
price range,” states the comparison in Auto, Motor und Sport.
“While the test-winning Kungs may appear minimalist and unassuming at first glance, in this
case, less is truly more. Our recommendation is to carefully inspect the ice scraper and test
how it feels in your hand before purchasing.”

Success Through Quality and Agile Production
Last autumn, Sinituote announced a nearly 5,700-square-metre expansion of its Kokemäki
factory. This significant development project is a result of successful export sales. For
Sinituote, this includes not only the successful export of SINI cleaning tools to Sweden but
also the export of Kungs-branded snow brushes to various parts of Europe. Kungs car care
products have been a leading brand in Europe for over 10 years.
The secret behind this success lies in the superior quality highlighted by the test win and
excellent delivery reliability. Kungs snow brushes and ice scrapers are developed in Finland
to withstand demanding winter conditions and are carefully tested before reaching the
market. In-house production enables Sinituote to offer very short delivery times when
necessary, a significant advantage compared to many competitors.
Sustainability as a Competitive Edge in Europe
In Central European markets, particularly in Germany, sustainably manufactured products
are also gaining interest in the car care sector. The article in Auto, Motor und Sport
highlighted the material used in Kungs snow brushes, which is mostly recycled plastic. The
durable ice scraper, praised in the test for its scraping efficiency, is made entirely from
recycled polycarbonate.
The main raw material used in the production of snow brushes is frost-resistant recycled
plastic, derived from consumer packaging. Sinituote developed this material in collaboration
with Fortum. This high-quality recycled plastic is an innovation and the first of its kind in
Finland.
